Take control of your career and your paycheck.
Make Financially Smart Career Moves
This session was born from real conversations in our weekly Mentorship calls, where Officials discussed their career moves and feeling a lack of control when it comes to compensation.
In a profession built on helping others succeed, it’s easy to forget to advocate for your own needs. Especially when it comes to money.
In our experience, most admin professionals don’t plan their careers with their personal financial goals in mind. They jump into roles hoping for decent pay, sometimes avoiding negotiation to seem “easy to work with,” and silently wish each review will bring the raise they deserve.
Sadly, many were not taught any differently. We think it’s time to flip that narrative and help you design the career and life you desire and deserve.
In this workshop, we’ll help you start to reverse engineer your career by first looking at what you need to be safe and content in your life and your financial needs. You’ll walk away with a personalized cheatsheet you can use during job searches, interviews, and performance reviews to stay grounded in what you need and not just what a role is offering.
What to Expect
- A safe space to work collectively with your peers on exploring your financial needs
- Real talk about why admins, especially women, often under-plan financially
- Language and tools to advocate for the pay you deserve
- No judgment, no jargon, just real support from someone who gets it
Why This Matters (Especially for Admins)
In a female-led industry, financial security is a huge issue. More than 1 in 3 women in the UK face poverty in retirement1, driven by career breaks and underpaid roles. In the U.S., research suggests that women have approximately 30 percent lower income in retirement than men2.
This isn’t just about confidence. It’s about long-term security.
Support roles are overwhelmingly held by women and that means we need financial frameworks built for our realities. This workshop gives you just that.
Who Should Attend?
This workshop is for:
- Administrative professionals who are tired of feeling out of control of their finances
- Executive assistants who want more than just praise, they want fair pay
- Office managers who keep the business running but feel stuck in underpaid roles
- Support staff who’ve avoided negotiating because “just getting the job” felt like enough
- Virtual assistants who want to set rates based on real-life needs, not guesswork
- Anyone in a support role ready to make empowered, financially grounded career decisions
