These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern your participation in the VA Business Systems Accelerator – Live Cohort (“Program”). By enrolling, you agree to these T&Cs in full.
1. Payment Terms
- Payment Due: Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot.
- Accepted Methods: Credit/debit card via Stripe or PayPal.
- Late Payment: Failure to complete payment within 48 hours of registration will forfeit your seat; any refund will be subject to the Participant Cancellation policy below.
2. Refund & Cancellation Policy
2.1 Participant Cancellation
- Full refund for cancellations made up to 7 days before the cohort start date.
- No refunds for cancellations within 7 days of start or after the cohort begins.
2.2 Provider Cancellation
- If we must cancel or postpone the cohort, you may choose:
- A full refund of all fees paid; or
- Transfer of your registration to the next scheduled cohort.
3. Premium HQ Member Discount
- Eligibility: Active HQ membership must be maintained throughout the 6-week cohort to retain member discount pricing.
- Lapse Consequence: If your membership lapses during the Program, your fee reverts to the Non-Member rate and the difference will be invoiced.
- No Retroactive Discounts: Discounts apply only at time of purchase.
4. Community Standards & Safety
- Be Respectful: Professional and courteous communication required.
- Zero Tolerance: Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or any behavior that makes others feel unsafe will result in immediate removal from the HQ Community and Cohort Collection without refund.
- Confidentiality: Do not share participants’ personal or business information outside the group.
- Participation: Active, respectful engagement is expected—silent lurkers may be removed at our discretion.
5. Intellectual Property & Single-User License
- All materials (videos, templates, slides, worksheets) are the exclusive property of The Officials.
- You receive a non-transferable, single-user license to use these materials for your personal business only.
- You may not reproduce, redistribute, or repurpose any content—whole or in part—to create or market your own courses or programs.
6. Community Portal Access
- Access to the Mighty Networks cohort portal is granted for 12 months from the cohort start date.
- After 12 months, access is revoked automatically; re-enrollment or an active HQ membership is required to regain access.
7. Recording Consent
- Live sessions are recorded for educational purposes.
- By attending, you consent to the use of your likeness and contributions in recordings, which may be used for future teaching and marketing.
8. Data & Privacy
- We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- If you are an EU or California resident, you have rights under GDPR and CCPA—see the full policy for details.
9. Technical Requirements & Support
- Requirements: Computer or tablet with a modern browser, stable internet, and Zoom.
- Support: Email support@jointheofficials.com, Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM GMT. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
10. Liability Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Officials and its affiliates disclaim all liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or inability to deliver services due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, technical outages, governmental actions).
12. Affiliate & Third-Party Tools
We may recommend third-party tools and include affiliate links. Any commissions earned do not affect the price you pay, and we recommend only tools we trust.
13. Entire Agreement & Severability
These T&Cs, together with your enrollment confirmation and our General Terms & Conditions, constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in full force and effect.
